Tales After Dark

Some stories are better heard… in the dark.

A host-led cinematic audiobook where cursed floppy disks contain complete gothic tales—and the impossible archive surrounding them slowly becomes a story of its own.

The faceless Keeper among candles, old books, floppy disks and the passages of Sector Four
The Keeper. A relic. A room that should not exist.

Meet the Keeper.

Deep beneath any sensible map sits a subterranean records department where obsolete technology, natural growth and theatrical ritual have fused. Its faceless custodian does not safely introduce these stories from a studio. He recovers them, wakes them and follows them into the dark.

“You are not watching from a safe distance. You have followed the Keeper underground.”

Every object opens a different world.

The disks are not files. They are physical relics—scarred, stained, bound, overgrown and marked by whatever story is trapped inside.

Six battered story disks arranged like mysterious recovered artifacts
  1. 01
    Recover the relic

A damaged disk arrives from somewhere the archive insists does not exist.

  2. 02
    Wake the terminal

The machine reads more than data. It remembers a complete world.

  3. 03
    Hear the tale

Performance, sound and illustrated visions carry the visitor through the dark.

  4. 04
    Extinguish the candle

The story ends. The room remains. Another disk is already waiting.

Two mouths the archive cannot keep shut.

Papa Hootie

An elderly owl archivist who remembers everything incorrectly and still resents being corrected.

Mickey Mouskarelli

A wiry relic broker who knows where objects come from, which passages are safe and exactly what the Keeper owes him.

In a kingdom where beauty is law, a masked court painter sees what polite society works desperately to hide. The prince commands a masterpiece. The painter prepares a sentence.

Beauty is law. The painter knows the sentence.

The terminal still works. Someone has been waiting.
